THE 25 YEAR CLUB

The 25 Year Club was founded in the early 1960s by the Board of Governors at Westminster Hospital to recognise and reward long service.
The successor to the Special Trustees (the Charitable Funds Committee) continues to support the club by funding awards for new members and annual lunches for members and their guests. Members are not required to pay subscriptions and membership is for life.

New membership is open to persons currently employed at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital since it opened in 1993. Proposed new members must have 19 years service at Chelsea and Westminster either directly employed, through a service which has been contracted out or have been a volunteer with the League of Friends since the opening of the Hospital.
All such employment of the recipient must be undertaken entirely on the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital site.

Prior to 1993, other service of 6 years length at Westminster Hospital or its associated institutions that are now closed will be taken into account to comprise the total of 25 Years.
If you are interested in becoming a member, please contact:

ANNUAL LUNCH

200 members and their guests attended last years lunch in the Harris Suite at Chelsea FC on Thursday 2nd June 2011.

What ever happened to.....?

Does anybody remember Pamela Wolff (now Pamela Allgood) who worked as a Nurse at the Westminster Children's Hospital around 1951-52.

She says 'My room was in main bldg, top floor, when on nights over the road'.

Contact us and we will forward your message.

Sell your items on eBay and donate to Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity!

Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity is now a listed eBay Charity so here’s another way to help us raise more funds for the hospital and the community.

When selling on eBay, you can now choose to donate a percentage of your proceeds to Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity. You can donate anything from 10%-100% of the final price of your sold item to us.*

eBay automatically handles all the administration and will send your donation directly to Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity.  All you have to do is tell eBay you want to donate to Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity.

They even work out the Gift Aid for you!

HOW TO DONATE A PROPORTION OF YOUR SALE PROCEEDS:

1. When creating a new listing, choose the “Advanced Sell” option.
2. During the process, you will be asked if you want to raise money for your favourite charity through eBay.
3. Search for “Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity” and decide what percentage you want to donate.

When you donate, eBay will even reduce your listing fee, by the same percentage as you choose to donate to the Charity.

It’s a great way to raise funds for the Charity and support your hospital.

The fundraising team at Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity are always available if you have any questions.  We can be contacted on 020 8846 6614.
